Project Overview – TDS provided extensive high definition 3D laser scanning of the famed “Grotto” in order to create a highly accurate / detailed model illustrating the complicated layout of more then a thousand hand-placed stones of varying sizes / shapes in and around the cave-like structure as well as the joining grout layout for preservation / future maintenance purposes. End-deliverables included the 3D scanned data (for future reference / comparison), in addition to historically detailed 3D models in Revit and 3D Studio Max.
